The Driver Education Program taught by Dickerson Driving School, Inc. is licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. The program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of individual, behind-the-wheel training.
Under Georgia law, O.C.G.A. 33-9-42, reductions in insurance premiums shall be available to licensed drivers under 25 years of age, if they have a clean record and successfully complete a driver education program such as ours. Also under code section 48-7-29.5 if a dependent minor child of a Georgia taxpayer completes our driver education program, the taxpayer is entitled to a tax credit of $150.00.

Dickerson Driving School, Inc. offers a Defensive Driving Course that is available to all drivers and may qualify drivers for an insurance reduction. Under Georgia law O.C.G.A. 33-9-42, a reduction of not less than 10% in insurance premiums shall be available to licensed drivers 25 years of age or older, provided they have a clean driving record and successfully complete a course in defensive driving of not less than 6 hours.
